Before I leave these boards until we play again..............Please and I mean please beat the Chiefs!
I dont think the Jets have a top 10 defense right now..maybe not even top 20. 2 great gameplans from Rex the previous 2 weeks against Manning and Brady kept them in check. But like usual the Jets play up to tough opponents and then down to equal or lesser ones. Its a recipe for failure and I wish I knew what the cause for that was. Is Rex not so much of a great motivator against teams like the Bills as he is against teams like the Broncos and Pats? Who knows. Personally Im of the opinion that if pro football players need motivation to perform on the field then there is something wrong with them. The D has some nice players individually but until the secondary issues are resolved players like Wilk and Sheldon's production will be limited. The run D is great. Not much else. As of right now the Jets are just above the Raiders Jags and Bucs in terms of overall league ranking so to speak. IMO there is a big gap between the Raiders and the 2nd worse team in the league but after that it doesnt all of the sudden get pretty either. Its gonna be a bloodbath for the 2nd overall pick in next years draft.
I'm just praying you guys dont get Winston........as a diehard FSU fan I hate seeing any FSU players in Jets green *yuck*
Other Bills fans dont care about this game as much..........I do because I live in Giants/Jets country and all my co-workers are Jets or Giants fans. So basically this game means more to me because it gives me a reason to talk ish at work for the week!
