I dont care if they win on tiebreakers or outright, they earned it in 2002 and hopefully we'll earn another and get a bye this year. We'll see, we need this Sunday Night b/c NE's sched is very soft after this week.

That season finale is the reason I don't go to games in Oakland anymore. The Oakland fans were assholes all those times when we lost, but violent when we won.

I could see a # 2 seed which would give us a week off and at least one home game. Losing to the Ravens is gonna cost us the # 1 spot unless the Bengals step up and beat them twice. That's a worry for another day. Also, we need the Bills to lose, they ain't done yet.

this is as much an AFC statement game as an AFC east statement game.

what i wouldn't give for a #1 or #2 seed these days and have at least 1 home playoff
    game during the playoffs.

the fact that its NE only adds to the fluff and could go a ways in dethronig them at least temporarily.

This is true, but bad teams get good in December which can really fuck things up.

Jets schedule gets pretty damn easy after this game, the Giants are the only team that can beat us the rest of the way, and when I say that I mean legitimately beat us, not getting upset by some shit team like Denver. If we win this game, going into the Denver game at 6-3, things will be looking very, very good. As long as we keep playing like we have been on defense.
