The Pats haven't lost after a bye week since 2002 I think It's something ridiculous That would be a stat worth posting
Now that I realize it, the Jets did, in 2002. Some other team(s) must have also done it during the Brady-Manning era (2001-Present).
Not to mention that was Roethlisberger's 2nd year. 1st year reached the Championship game. (By beating Jets). Sanchez went to title game as rookie, now in title game again. Super irony everywhere!!!
A Jets win next week, and Sanchez matches Roethlisberger's 5-1 record in his first two seasons. A win two weeks later and he matches his AFC CG loss/Super Bowl win pattern.
Pats 14-3 this season but 2 of those loses from the Jets. We ruined their season (Also all of their loses from the Ryans)

It is late and I've done some drinking, but hopefully the following info is all correct. Maybe Murrell2878 could confirm this in the morning. teams who played Colts & Patriots in consecutive games, 2001-2010: 2001 Jets (lost to IND, beat NE) Bills (lost to both) Saints (beat IND, lost to NE) 2002 Titans (beat both) 2003 none 2004 none 2005 none 2006 Texans (lost to NE, beat IND) 2007 Ravens (lost to both) *Chargers (beat IND, lost to NE) 2008 none 2009 Titans (lost to both) Jaguars (lost to both) *Ravens (beat NE, lost to IND) 2010 *Jets (beat both) _____________________ teams who beat both the Colts and Patriots in the same season, 2001-2010: 2001 Jets Dolphins Rams 2002 Dolphins Titans Jets (win vs NE in regular season; win vs IND in postseason) 2003 none 2004 none 2005 Chargers 2006 none 2007 none 2008 none 2009 Jets 2010 *Jets *postseason game(s)
My favorite stat of the day: # of Pats holding and consoling Wes Welker while he was crying over the loss: 1 (Tom Brady) Oh the agony of dafeat......hahahahhaahah
Putting up 5 sacks on Brady was something special to witness. From what I seen, Brady looked lost and confused out there; I really believe Rex had #12 beat before the game even started. I cant say enough about this defense over the past two weeks...They've really played championship type defense against two future HOF QB's in Manning and Brady. Two questions: 1) How high of a QB rating did Sanchez have? Throwing 3 TD's / 0 INT's, I'd imagine it was close to 95-100? 2) I know Sanchez is 4-1 during the playoffs, but what's his career playoff QB rating?
