Maybe he was thinking about the NBA where 4-team trades are relatively common. The NFL has never had a 4-team trade and only two 3-team trades in its entire history--the Herschel Walker trade and the Eric Dickerson trade. Nobody is doing a 4-team trade in the NFL.
