i don't wanna sound like an ass but him not wearing a helmet was really stupid. Law or no law. It should be common sense to wear one. He didn't listen to the pleas from his coach or teammates. I know he looked at the Winslow situation like "Kellen was an inexperienced cyclist and I'm better at driving cycles than him." Its good to trust yourself on the road, but never trust all the other drivers on the road. And what happened, the accident wasnt his fault. Some lady ran a red light. Thats why you wear a helmet. Just in case a dumbass does something like that. I feel sorrow but at the same time im furious because of how Ben acts on the road.
