    Get your facts straight...

The crash happened at an intersection at the edge of downtown.

A silver Chrysler New Yorker with damage to the front passenger fender was removed and Roethlisberger?s bike was loaded onto a flatbed truck. Police were detouring traffic around the crash scene as onlookers and media gathered.

An eyewitness reported that a vehicle travelling on 2nd Avenue in Pittsburgh made a left turn onto the 10th Street bridge and was struck by Roethlisberger's motorcycle. Roethlisberger was thrown into the windshield and across the vehicle.

Fellas I think it's too early to lay fault with anyone- the cops probably haven't even finished THEIR accident investigation, so we should hold off with our final opinion.

In the end, regardless of who's at fault it's a shame, because if the guy is lucky enough to make it through and live, his playing days could well be behind him, and something like this WAS avoidable.

Does anyone know how the car made out? I heard the windshield got all craked up from Big Ben's head. Is it easy to get a new windshield in Pitt? It would suck driving around looking through a spider web. I had a pebble ding my windshield once and it was very annoying. If there is blood and hair stuck in the cracks can they get that out? Man that would suck.

I've seen 3 articles on it and I have yet to see that...... You're right, it wasn't on a bridge..

A witness told Channel 4 Action News that Roethlisberger went over the handlebars, hit the windshield of ANOTHERvehicle and then hit the ground.

The obviously have no clue yet what the actual story is

THE BOTTOM LINE IS the are reasons that they are not saying how bad he is. Nothing to get your panties in a bunch about!

Hopefully he is alright, would be a shame to see a talent like him go to waste (even though he plays for Pittsburgh).

    1) cause you were there
    2) because the conflicting stories mean nothing to you

Good thing he wasn't wearing a helmet or that windshield would have been totally destroyed.

Does it really matter what car's windshield his head hit?
