adam schefter just reported on NFL Network that Ben has a broken jaw, broken nose, chipped teeth and laceration on his cheek and knees. (there were more but I can't remember everything). I still have no idea what he's in surgery for (maybe the broken jaw???)

Well this year is obviously done with for him...maybe next year also.

I (along with everyone else) wish him the best.

Well yeah I know, but it could be....

imo it all depends on the knee injuries.

Probably the Jaw, but I also read a plastic surgeon was going to work on him

I got this from my fantasy site

    Ben Roethlisberger, QB PIT

News: According to sources close to CBS SportsLine.com, Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger underwent surgery June 12 on his head, face and knee following a motorcycle accident in Pittsburgh. He reportedly broke his jaw, suffered a nine-inch gash in his head, broke his sinus cavity and has a knee injury. Eyewitnesses say Big Ben flew over his handlebars and hit his head on the windshield of a car. He was not wearing a helmet and was bleeding from his head. He was conscious when he went to the hospital and knew he was going to undergo surgery.

Analysis: The Steelers will have to wait and see what kind of shape Roethlisberger is in before they can deem him their starter for 2006. He may not be a participant in training camp this season and could be questionable for the start of the season. Charlie Batch is the Steelers' No. 2 QB as of now.

If his knee injury is bad enough that he misses camp and that maybe he could come back in October or November and if the Steelers do well, maybe they would sit him out the whole year.

I hope he is okay, but I mean how do you go about without wearing a helmet?

And boy he is lucky for being alive.

PA has no helmet laws currently on the books, so,while utterly retarted, is not illegal.

Whilst I wish him a great recovery, I still don't want him to play this year

    Is that bad?

Well yes, but I kinda feel like I'm still wishing hurt upon him .

I don't like that he got hurt so bad, but while he's hurt...hey why not be the whole season right?

New York finally found a way to beat Pittsburgh:

A silver Chrysler New Yorker traveling in the opposite direction took a left turn and collided with the motorcycle........

    J/K, get better Ben.
