If interviewing Tulsa's Charles Clay at the combine isn't any kind of a smokescreen, then we may be implementing the H-Back into our offense.

Conner is a lead blocker with limited receiving experience.

Keller is a walking, talking mismatch that can't block to save his life.

The staff might be thinking about bringing in a guy that can do a little of both.

Really going to miss his penchant for terrible penalties and dropping the 3 passes he sees in a year. Huge loss.

Couldn't agree more. March 2nd is a day that will live in infamy for Jets fans.

Hartsock was good for us in his role but we do have some young TEs this CS is high on.

Hartsock was a need player we picked up when Keller was lost blocking for the ground game. Pretty good blocker, but a total dead spot in the passing progressions. On a team that values versatility, he was just a band-aid.

Ther e are talks once an ew CBA is reached he might come back for a cheaper number... Schotty has always been so fond of this guy... I can't really see why.

Hartsock was a great blocker but his holding penalties always seemed to come at the worst times. He's also getting paid way to much to be a strictly blocking TE.

I hope Jeff Cumberland can be an effective run blocker.

Mulligan is here because he's a solid special teamer.

I honestly wouldn't be surprised if we picked up an all-around tight end in the later rounds of the upcoming draft.

Like I said earlier in this thread, we may go after more of an H-Back type player that can line up in the backfield and at tight end.

He's clearly not the passing threat that Hartsock is.

He's not. Wayne Hunter is.(oops..I meant receiving threat..jftr)

I've watched all the tapes. Sanchez passed up Wide Open Wayne Hunter more often than Orrin Hatch running into LinLo in a DC Bar.

I am so happy that waste of F*ng cap space is gone.

I would have cut him after the home Buffalo game in 2009, but that's me.

Gronkowski does not approve, there is only 1.

The Gronk had Jesus change his birthday.
