Ben Graham makes punting fun to watch! I hate seeing us punt, but I have to admit it, I look forward to seeing him do it.

Speaking of keeping their mouths shut, why don't you let this thread be about Ben Graham instead of continuing the soap opera?

Dude, I appreciate the support, but even I know when to be quiet. abyzmul may not like me, but he's a good poster... He didn't state anything terrible.

Considering that this team the past 4 years has employed such immortals as Toby Gowen, Dan Stryzinski (spelling? C'mon that is hard give me a break here) and Matt Turk, I can't even begin to tell you how thrilled I am with Ben Graham. Personally I'm glad that he's never really talked about cause then you know he's doing a fantastic job. I mean really there's not alot of press on other good punters like Hunter Smith in the NFL.

i dont know...maybe?? next time you lecture me about getting back on topic, dont be the person who falls victim to the side converstaions as well that you claim are turning this thread into a soap opera...you're doing the exact same thing you told me to shut up about, so dont be a hypocrite

The thread is unsalvagable because of your retarded comments trying to revive a flamewar and make the thread about yourself. Remember that the next time you decide to loudly and obtusely tic off the names on your ignore list.

I don't even need to comment, but I will so I can get another nugget of brilliance from the little furry guy with the fez. Keep digging.

Sorry, folks... I was "celebrating" the Jets win maybe a bit too much and broke the rules. That is my fault. I'll get the Graham report up tonight, even if it's not very timely, despite the critisisms it may get.

I won't encourage any more flaming by commenting on some of the comments made in this thread. I took the bait, hook line and sinker, and that was a mistake. Tome to get to work now, but I'll post the BG report when I get home.

I look forward to the Graham Report. It was one of my favourite threads throughout last season.

Keep up the good work!

I watched the game on Superfan yesterday, and I can give a little review of the punts.

#1 - 54 yards. In my opinion, it was a little low, which outkicked coverage a little (sometimes kicking it as far as humanly possible is not the best thing, as it can lead to a return). PacMan Jones returned it 13 yards yielding a net of 41, which is still a very good net, so the coverage helped out some there.
    B+

#2 - 36 yards. He was trying to angle this one down the sidelines, but didn't get the angle right. Yardage was lost due to this, but there was no return, so it was not that bad.
    C

#3 - 50 Yards. This was the one PacMan Jones muffed, and lost 1 on the return. The muff was partially to the credit of Graham and partially the fault of PacMan (he gave like 65 yards of cushion, lining up VERY deep). This was a very good punt.
    A+

#4 - 58 yards. This was another one that may have outkicked coverage a little, but it did not appear to be low like the first one, so it's still a good punt. PacMan returned it for 10, giving a 48 net. That's quite good.
    A+

All in all, I'd give him an A- for the day. If it wasn't the first game, I'd give an A, but you have to leave room for improvement. Nets of 41, 36, 51 and 48 are amazing. If Graham averages 44 net and 48.8 gross (net is more important than gross), he'd be all-pro easy. Unfortunately, some punts require less distance, so he's going to have a hard time keeping those averages up, to no fault of his own.

It was a very impressive day for Graham.
