They have the #1 offense in the league. Just because you say it, doesn't make it true.

  2. 5 years ago I'd be more upset by the Pats. But not anymore. I recognize that Rex is partially to blame for the stirring the pot w/ his book. But Giant fans on sports radio & out in public have become bullies towards Jet fans.

Looking back on 25 years of mediocrity..one of the worst insults that can be made is the words "Giants stadium". There truly was no comeback for that. NYG should have no apologies for their success..but it seems for every ounce of bad luck the Jets have, a bounce seems to go in the Giants favor. It just always seems like the Giants & their fans are always there to tell us we can't.

    It's discouraging beyond belief.

You're allowed to disagree with me. Mind you, I never said that their offense is bad, I just think they are leaving more plays on the field than I am used to seeing.

I'm glad that you at least mention that, because I feel like it gets overlooked a lot. The hatred between the Giants and Jets was not nearly as strong during the Mangini years. Ryan gave that "rivalry" a shot in the arm with his boosts about being the better team for a decade and being the biggest show in town and talking about being the only NYC team in the playoffs (which, if memory serves, was done in a press-conference about playing the Colts).

I'm not saying the Giants are choir boys, they talked back and hardly took the proverbial "high road." All I'm saying is it's just not right to act like the Giants went out of their way to take shots at the Jets last season; they absolutely were provoked.

I think the chatter should be done for a while. Both teams have their own things to focus on and the Giants made a pretty definitive statement in not only winning the Super Bowl, but in using a victory against the Jets to springboard that run.

At any rate, I think both teams should be focused on their own paths right now, the season is only half over.
