I said the offer is final. It is very fair. Looks like Leon will play for peanuts this year and be fanchised next year. This is being really stupid on Leon's part. If he got badly injured this year, he may not be franchise tag material next year and he waves good-bye to a bunch of money that he could have had.
Leon hasn't proved he can be the every down back , so to refuse Sproles like money is a testament to his character. Greedy, self centered, and not in line with his worth. I'm sure it a natural thing to think the world of yourself , but I don't think hes ignorant to what his role is now and for the future. It would be nice to get him in a healthy rotation , much like the giants and the chargers do.
He will not be franchised. They will never pay him almost 7 million dollars to be a backup. Most likely they will let him walk away if he doesn't take this and then either draft or sign another backup and pay them the 1 million or so they are worth.
Whatever he wants guys....Who are we without Leon? He is our only...ONLY dynamic player on O...Now a TD wow great game/unique player....we will find a way to let him go
Only dynamic player on offense? First of all, he's nothing without the O-line. Second, you're overlooking Dustin Keller. Third, he's less effective without Thomas Jones effectiveness, who you probably think sucks because he isn't LT.
totally on board with this......we need to put out the "Leon collection plate". our offense is GARBAGE without him.
The O-line has looked great....seriously? get a clue bro and watch the game, stope drinking natty ice and watch the fucking game.
