I thought he did a good job going 11-5 with Cassel a couple of years ago, but certainly he's been surrounded by good coaches, personnel people and of course lucked into an all-time QB. So to me he's somewhere in the middle, plus with the stature he's achieved that alone makes guys play for him and buy into the program.
