Goodson, Patterson, Vick, Chris Johnson. Just all waste of money, coming from a guy who is nitpicking every dollar he spends. He will give Mike Vick 5 million, Paterson 3.5 million, but he couldnt just give 8 million to a CB for 3 or so years. Neither of his drafts have been to good either so far. He was not a personnel guy, he was a money guy, the Jets brought him in as a money guy.

Next offseason is the PERFECT time to blow this whole thing up, go get Tom Gamble as the Jets GM (he was very close last time to becoming the Jets GM, he worked in San Fransicso until 2012, and went to Philly in 2013, he was the VP of Personnel in both locations). Then go out and get Jim Harbaugh in here, allow Jim Harbaugh to hand pick the QB that he wants, wether it be Mariotta, Hoyer, Manziel, whoever....because I trust his choice. Then you pay Wilkerson, go get Dez Bryant or Thomas, sign a corner back, draft ferguson's replacement, and most of all, just draft well!

The Jets can be back in this next season if the right moves are made. I want the right guy to be making those moves, and its not John idzik. Next year he is going to have to spend the money, AND he is going to have to hand out big contracts, I dont want him handing out contracts that crush this team in the future (like Holmes contract).

Idzik is going to have to sign good players next season which will require long term contracts, up until now he has done a poor job in free agency. I dont want him signing the wrong guy and costing this team for multiple years.

I think you are overestimating how embarrassed NFL owners are because of how bad their teams are, given that their friends and family "shaming" them do not, in fact, own an NFL franchise.

Owners can always get new friends and disown family members.

They can't get another NFL franchise.

If this is some fans' sincerest strategy for getting Woody to sell, they need to pick up a new hobby.

There is no chance Woody is forced to sell. The other owners would have to push that in, do you think Kraft or Mara are going to go after him? Yeah sure, Mara shares a building with him, Kraft is right down the road. Woody probably votes the same way they do, basically follows their opinion. Woody has spent money, put a new stadium in, hosted a Super Bowl, etc. Mara and Kraft probably like Woody Johnson, he has has been easy to work with im sure.

    Already posted it.

Find Superman, have him fly around the world really fast in reverse orbit so as to turn back time until May 8 and draft Teddy Bridgewater.

Oh look, trading for Harvin was essentially what I was discussing. Idzik has to spend the money, and he cant dish out one year contracts for the 80 million we have to spend, it will require big contracts, that are multi year. Now we have Harvin on our team who is not worth 10 million, and is under contract for a while. Santonio Holmes 2.0.....

The Seahawks had to get rid of him, but trading him was ideal rather cutting him and taking the cap hit. They need money to sign Wilson, now that they have both Rice's and Harvins contracts off the books that combined for over 20 million, they can now pay Russell his 20 million dollar deal.

This is a fire-able offense by Idzik imo, now we cant pursue Dez Bryant or Thomas, or any receiver out there. I guess the idea for Idzik is to finally figure out if we have a QB before we draft one next season, Geno benefited a lot from having Tavon Austin in college so we will see if this is a match made in heaven, or just an absolutely dreadful move because of his contract.

Idzik BETTER be right about this, he literally is gambling on this guy right now, if this doesnt work out, its going to hurt us so much.

And the trolls/haters/terrorists can put this on record now, remember to quote this post when this becomes a bad deal the same way Holmes' did....

I am 100% against this move, I am disgusted, and it is a huge mistake. Trading for Percy Harvin was a mistake.

    So quote that trolls....

It's a move that had to be made.

At 1-6 all the talk is how he's sitting on 20 million+ ....now he can say "What...I gave you Percy fukin Harvin...?"

    It's called grasping at straws.

    Harbaugh is not going anywhere

Dez and Thomas are not making to FA

Fans thinking we have a chance to land either of those wrs are worse than knick fans who thought LeBron was coming

It's very obvious that the reason we didn't talk to Revis was woody didn't want to pay for a winner who was the best jet player in the last 30 years

I can't speak for him, but my interpretation is something along the lines of "I'm a dumbass."

Thanks for the compliment, although I wouldn't go so far as to say that I'm awesome. I'll settle for not being a dumbass though.
