rex had his procedure before he entered the competition ... and im pretty sure his weight loss before hand didnt count rex says whatever hes feeling at the moment, hes not crying to the media. he stands up, answers ALL questions and is honest; win, lose or draw ... that also says a lot about his character players are going to respect rex because he will always be honest with them, and in a business as shady as the nfl, that goes a long way

I have a feeling you don't know what lap band surgery is.... And does it really matter whether the competition started before or after the surgery?? He took the easy way out....That's the point.
