It would take more than a first round pick. And to be honest, I wouldn't mind Revis over Samuel anyway. Less cost, younger, still hasn't hit his optimum output (which Samuel more than likely has).
2 first rounders? Hope he's prepared to spend another year in NE. Better yet, he should just sit out the year.
They don't want 2 first round picks, 2 round picks is what it would cost to sign him because he was franchised. If he's not a Patriot next year, it will be because of a trade, and that would certainly be less than 2 first round picks. But as already stated, it's very unlikely the Patriots would be willing to trade him to the Jets, if not impossible.
I think he may have been trying to cleverly say that this thread was in the wrong forum, because at the time I think it was in the Jets forum...
Trade or not , I would like Mangini to make enquiries to just stir up 'ole Bill a bit. Nothing like making his vein bulge during the off season. I for one would not want Samual at those prices quoted , and has already been said , if some of the better CBs are there still at 25 I would be happy to take one. Who knows Miller might step up yet.
Me too. It's called Karma, and you already did it with Branch. I would love it with Samuel too. What comes around, goes around. I'm sure we will do the same to your franchise too with a key player.
Pistols at dawn. I'm sure Bill will be scheming away against us somewhere.....Mangini is fast becoming the jedi master though:up:
