The Jets won’t beat the Browns. This Raiders game is their best shot at a win. The Patriots game would be their second best. I think somehow the Jets will win a game BUT I think Jax will also win another game to finish 2-14.
Rex's act was tired for me from almost the moment he was hired. He got some slack because the team did so well, but he benefited from the team that Mangini put together and the discipline he had instilled.
Parcells was the only clearly good coach the Jets have had since Walt Michaels. The guy I want taking over the 2021 Jets and Trevor Lawrence is Jim Harbaugh. Any coordinator without prior head-coaching experience is 80/20 to get rolled by the process of turning around the Jets. Failed head coaches are probably more like 90/10 to fail again. We need a guy who has run a program and won consistently in the process. Harbaugh is probably the guy who best fits that description among likely available head coaches next year. Hiring the hot coordinator is going to cost us 3 years for no gain.
Man, if we actually land Lawrence and have all that ammo to build around the kid the future will be bright. Just need the right coach.

When was the last time the Jets went back to back in the playoffs and beat Brady in Foxboro in a playoff game. That was a Rex Ryan team ill take that type of pussy everyday and twice on Sunday.
Rex did that on the team that Mangini's built. Where there were players who were leaders and were disciplined in their style of play and good chemistry. Rex helped dismantle that team, provided no leadership, and undermined the discipline with his antics. We saw the real Jets teams Rex's last 3 years with the Jets. He is a clueless twit and a disgrace. Anyone who would want him back deserves Gase and 0-16 every year.
