Personally, I don't care when it happens, just as long as it does happen. The sooner it happens, however, the happier and more relieved I'll be.
The only thing that needs to/should be off the Jets is Sanchez' cap number. Would be very happy to see Sanchez v Geno rd 2 in 2014 and focus on building team depth.
Why do you hate Mark Sanchez so much? You clearly must if you want him to spin his wheels with a franchise that values him so lowly they were unconvinced he's worth an assurance of starter status in his sixth year in lieu of competing with a cheaper second year player with more upside that he's already competed with. See in spite of the fact that I think he's mediocre, I kind of like Sanchez, and I think he would be better off in a place where he hasn't left an impression yet, not a team with a returning coaching staff that should have a gauge of where he's at who would only use him as a stop gap at best. staying with the jets is career suicide due to the fact they he could never be the franchise QB here. he can't prove himself more than he already has in New York, thats the problem with keeping him, what the hell is he gonna prove the he hasn't already here? when will his defenders realize that the only way for him to prosper is to set him free?
Sigh... The reason all of what you're saying is completely irrelevant is because I don't give a shit what happens to Mark Sanchez if/when he's out of the Jets uniform. But if we can get him back here for a cheaper number that puts our team in the best position to succeed moving forward because we can focus on filling skill positions and depth while letting our 2 VERY YOUNG QBs figure out which one ( if either ) are capable.
Why fall back on such nonsense? That reply is just too easy and means nothing. Aji feels, like most of us, that too much cash is set aside for Sanchez. Simple. No "hate" involved, strictly business. Nothing derogatory, just business. Tell us why you think "hate" is involved with this post.
I'd rather keep Sanchez. Bringing in a veteran QB like a Schaub I think isn't going to prompt Smith to get better. A young guy like Sanchez, who is hungry, will bring out the best in Geno or break him. Since Sanchez knows the offense, no time will be wasted, trying to teach a new QB new tricks. I'm probably in the minority here, but I think Sanchez has something to offer.
Sanchez couldn't separate himself in 2013. But yet they should bring him back one more time. Remind me what the definition of insanity is?
you were giving someone shit about saying sancho would get cut here and never do this and never step on the field again. i was just saying i thought he would get cut last year too. and i was incorrect. hobbes was adamant that he would not, and he was correct.
Yeah- the guy I was responding to used to be sg3, then he was perma-banned, then he became Mitch Dumstein, then he was perma-banned, then he became ProudJetFan, them he was permabanned. He was similarly permabanned under several names on JetsInsider for being a doosh. Now he's back as lonestarlady who is in actuality (i) a real woman with real boobs (I've seen them) and (ii) a respected poster over at JetsInsider. This doosh is just a miserable a-hole who continues to create usenames to continue posting his a-hole-itude on Jets board. His posting style hasn't changed, just his username. He's infamous for putting posters that call out his a-hole-itude on "Ignore" then continuing to respond to the "Ignore" message. It's a pathos for him. Look at his sig now. Seriously, the dick cannot help himself. I'm shocked his IP address hasn't been flagged yet again. _
you are the one being delusional, Mark easily was the starter when he got hurt. it's not even debatable. whether he kept the job or not is but not who won the sham competition.
If Geno needs a stiff like Sanchez or another vet to push him, then we don't need Geno, either. That whole idea is moronic imo. Unless the QB is a lazy ass like Ryan Leaf, and only cares about the NFL lifestyle, money and women, he doesn't need anyone to push him. The idea of competition at QB when it happens, isn't to "push" one of the QBs, it's merely to determine who is the best in a pressure-filled situation/competition. I can tell you now that Geno is better than Sanchez. Geno definitely things that he needs to work on and improve, but he has skills that Sanchez can only have a wet dream about.
On the old NY Times Jets board, he said more than once that he thought Richie Anderson ought to be horse-whipped at half time. It wouldn't surprise me if he was the one who put the noose on the statue in Alabama.
Oh, sg3 was a doosh there too? I didn't even read that board but I'm not surprised. If I PMed the real LoneStarLady at Jets Insider, she'd hunt that dick down. She's a pretty cool chick, but she doesn't take crap from anyone. Especially the likes of Mitch Dumstein. _
