Maybe you should change the Mark Sanchez quote in your sig then. How about: Originally Quoted by Mark Sanchez One second...Listen...Forget what this feels like...this is only one game. Don't remember this after today. Get your treatment but don't assume we will ball all year baby. Lets go cautiously [whisper]and the home of the jets [/whisper]
This is why as a Jets fan you want no part of a Jets-Giants SB. The shit has already started. "1. New York Jets (No.1 last week; 5-1): For now, the question is whether they're the best team in the nation. Pretty soon, there could be an honest debate as to whether they're the best team in their own stadium. " http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2010/10/26/week-seven-power-rankings/?related=1
Yes -the Giants after definitely overachieving. The beat the trainwreck Cowboys and now they're headed to the Super Bowl? Did we say that after we destroyed Buffalo? No, because it's just plain stupid. If you put the Gay Sharks in the NFC East, they'd be 5-2 (or better) right now. The Giants are a mediocre team in a crappy division and I think that, when the season ends, the Eagles will be at the top of that division anyway. The Giants started 5-0 last year - how'd that work out?
1986 is the only year both were very close. 86 was a great year for NY Sports The Mets were a cocky, nobody can beat us attitude team...kinda like the 2010 Jets.
The Giants have yet to be tested. They've beaten: Panthers Bears Texans Lions Dallas The Bears and Texans are average but have been their best competition so far. Their 2 losses, the Titans and Colts. 2 middle of the road AFC teams at the moment. Well the Colts are the Colts but that game was never even close. What's good for the Giants is their remaining schedule is very easy: Seattle Dallas Philadelphia Jacksonville Washington Minnesota Philadelphia Green Bay Washington That is a very easy schedule, if you looks how these teams are playing now. The Eagles could give them a good game if they get all their weapons back, other than that the Giants could coast.
I couldn't care less. If the Jets make the superbowl (and again it's way too early for that talk) I don't give a fuck if they play the Amsterdam Admirals.
Questions that concern me (by priority): 1) Can we beat a Green Bay team we should beat? 2) Can the Jets win the division with the Pats breathing down our necks? 3) Can our defense return to top form? 4) Do we have a chance at securing a bye week? .....998) Taste great or less filling? 999) Who's Mark Sanchez banging this week? 1000) Will there be a Subway Superbowl?
at this stage the giants have a much easier road to haul in the NFC. as fate usually has it the jets have a much tougher road into the postseason. the ravens, steelers, colts, and jets can beat any NFC team, including the giants. jil
