Check out this NFL PED memo. You just can't make this stuff up. It may give new meaning to "performance enhancing." https://nflpawebqa.blob.core.windows.net/media/Default/Active Players/Male Enhancement Products_2017.pdf
I'll never understand teh NFL. they got guys who are 275 lbs who run faster than Mickey Rivers and can jump over a truck. Isnt every mother fucker in this league using PEDs? These are not real human beings
The only problem with that is that if either Roberts or Whitehead are on the roster the first game of the season, his salary for the year becomes guaranteed, so even if the Jets cut him (whichever one) when Stewart comes back, the Jets will still be on the hook for his salary.
That's a great point and truu of Roberts but not Whitehead. He only has 2 accrued seasons, 2015 & 2016 with Dallas and was on IR last year with Jets.
Whiteheads contract has $0 guaranteed. Whitehead is not a vested veteran so his salary is not guaranteed.
Thanks for the correction. I think I would have preferred that Whitehead get the job anyway, so now I'm even more in favor of Whitehead.
Also another use for a diuretic is for rapid weight reduction, he may well have been a fat greedy bastard all off season and wanted to a quicker way to lose his hamburger belly but I would still say it is more likely to disguise the use of PED's as you said.
You do have to wonder at times and same goes for the wwe/f (or whatever they are now) wrestlers as well.
Diuretics may help immediate weight loss by reducing fluid, but actually cause you to gain weight. In an athletes case, the dehydration would seriously hamper performance and could even cause life threatening arrhythmias. I could see a fighter or wrestler using them prior to a weigh in, but other than that, they are useless for weight loss.
With about 16 other WR to compete against Ardarius must have felt desperate to get an edge...well don't do the crime if you can't do the time ..aharahar
Perhaps he was worried about a peanut budda buddha sandwich he mistakenly ate while with family, hence the diuretics. It could happen to anyone.
I had high hope for this kid, ArDarius. I am not going to pull the plug on the kid - but he has a lot of ground to cover.
