I would argue that we were closer in 1998 than under Rex. And it that instance we actually did win a division title as well.
Don't waste your time. I been there done that. In the end you'll be called a typical, childish, bad, Jet fan that gets every bad thing he deserves....with an endless list of meaningless bullshit trivial minutiae.
Every time I think I understand how deep the level of stupid that Jets fans are, there's always one who makes me realize it goes even deeper than I thought.
Wanna bet you talked crap about Rex before this year and now you think he's great because he's on the Bills?
I would agree as well, in 98 we went 12-4, looked like a really good team. Played one bad game all season (St Louis) and were leading at halftime. and up 10-0 in the 3rd quarter. The Jets could not have played any worse in that game John Hall missed a FG in the 1st quarter, Curtis Martin fumbled on the 2nd possession in Denver territory. Keith Byers fumbled at the Denver 23 in the 2nd quarter. Alex Van Dyke fumbled inside Denver territory in the 3d. We had 6 fucking turnovers that night and a missed FG yet outside of the 3rd quarter were the superior team that game. I hate what if's but what if the Jets don't turn the ball over 6 times and John Hall doesn't miss a FG? We probably blow Denver off the field and crush Atlanta in the SB. In 2010 there was no guarantee we beat Green Bay.
You can argue that and maybe the 1998 team was better but we had no chance mid way through the 4th qtr, we had a chance at Pitt up until the final minutes.
will he? if he acts like an adult and posts his thoughts we can have an intelligent back and forth rather than the childish nonsense w/ folks like you that when you have nothing you just bash me. You haven't been there and done anything, you can't keep up so you bash me.
We had a better team in 1998 but we were not closer and we played 3 bad games losing to 3 awful teams- SL, Baltimore and Indy. We did turn it over 6 times unfortunately, if we turn it over 3 we have a great chance but we didn't. There was no guarantee we'd have beaten Atlanta either, we crushed them in reg season w/ 45 yr old Steve DeBerg, they were a different team in January.
That's not true. I was critical of Rex and you were the one bashing me with accusations of a 'bad Jets fan' and being immature. How dare I be critical of Rex. Talk of maturity from you is a joke.
Hey, calm down BOJ BJ-boy………maybe have some more cock……whatever, just relax. More to the point, you and your lamer-than-lame troll act came onboard this forum sporting a misplaced "we haven't sniffed the playoffs in eons" username coupled with a dumber-than-dumb avatar mocking Rex Ryan, yet your revised avatar suggesting that Rex is the 2nd coming of Marv Levy and that all Bills fans should be as ecstatic as your mom holding a bag of tumescent cocks is hypocritical to say the least. Speaking of your mom, rumor has it that the city elders are looking to rename Sycamore Street Suckamore Street after her. "Bills Over Jets?" Nice try pickle smoocher.
it's the constant crying "I'm not here to troll" nonsense when someone calls out his trolling that gets me.
Bills Over Jets in a thread regarding Mark Sanchez: "He was terrible with the Jets. Problem is, I have no idea if he sucked because he just sucks, or whether he sucked because he had a terrible head coach, with a toxic environment, locker room, and media, but is actually a good QB. Guess we'll find out."
