You know it's the offseason when things like this are being heavily debated. God this sucks. Pittsburgh has 6 fucking rings, they couldn't just let us have this one? lol
they lost the game, i'm pretty sure it will not sit well with them all offseason, but that's a little bit much to say there should be a period of mourning-lol nobody died, they lost a game, a big game at that. if i had a job like theirs, and their wallets to go along with it, and i landed a little after midnight in the greatest city in the world, i'd be out on the town too, there actually are things to be proud about with this team, some people just cannot see them.
Rex issued this memo to players on Monday: Guys, nyjunc says you must perform "mourning" duties until further notice. That means...no women, no booze, I guess that means no "feet" for me, dammit. Anyway, this will be protocol till nyjunc says it's okay. Now let's go get a god damn snack. Rex
Seriously? I just finished going to school not too long ago and in my tiny college town there were nights that didn't start until midnight. I can only imagine what type of fun is just beginning at midnight in NYC. If the passionate fans are so upset at these players maybe they should take a step back and not buy anything that has a Jets logo on it, drop their season tickets, not buy any jerseys. The fans have enabled the players this type of lifestyle by spending so much damn money on anything with an NFL logo on it. It is beyond stupid to turn around and be upset about this type of thing just because a game didn't go your way.
You think rex hit his local tavern after that loss or do you think he was sick to his stomach blowing that chance?
who fucking cares, junc.....it's not mine nor is it your business how Rex or his players deal with a loss. I don't want these guys moping around.....i want them to start preparing for next season (if there is one).....I'm sure the loss stung like a bitch, but it shouldn't destroy their lives. jesus christ.
Of course it is our busines when they do it in oublic. Many of us pay alot of miney to see these guys play and we all tune in and help them get big advertising dollars so the players and owners can make as much as they do so it is a story. No one was asking them to mope for months but at least pretend like it hurt and don't go out partying until 3-4 AM. There is plenty of time available to go out and party, doing so hours after they blew a SB berth was not the right time.
I think this deserves some recognition. I don't personally give a shit what they were doing after the game. Reminds me of when my JV team as a sophomore skipped film study on Monday for 3 hours of basic torture on the field. Why? Because after losing an afternoon game we should have won, we had the audacity to cheer for varsity that night and "didn't look sad enough". This argument would have died ages ago if junc weren't on one side, and that's an indictment on everyone involved.
IF....IF....IF.... If the Queen had balls she would be King. If only Rex would not have deferred the ball...
Sanchez and Edwards got to the bar at 3am, and left at 4:30am. Sanchez spent most of the time sitting at the bar chatting up the bartender. Tell me again how that's "partying all night"?
you don't like how they live their lives....don't pay the money to go see them then. Your season tickets don't entitle you to dictate how these guys deal with a loss. What a stupid thing to say. Get your head out of your ass.
I don't quite see what this has to do with anything? Does getting shitfaced stop becoming a good way to have a good time at some point here? I hope not.
