He's still not a bad player i think he still has some left but i dont think its a good idea signing him i rather let Elam and maybe Lowelry if Mangini has plans for him at safety to fight for the spot. A 30 year old who will probally be asking for a good amount of $ i'll pass.

That was my thinking. He was making FAR too much money in Chicago. He'd have to sign for a realistic contract and take a huge paycut. I always liked the guy when he was in St. Louis and in the couple of games I saw him play at ASU.

The other factor is that I liked when Rhodes was being used more as a SS his first three seasons while we had Erik Coleman playing FS. If we were to pick up Archuleta, you'd see a lot more of the ballhawking Kerry Rhodes, but not nearly as many opportunities for him to get after the QB.

he was always overrated his entire career, st louis did some nice things with him and put him in position to make plays and not look bad. that and the fact he is about 2 steps slower hurt him severely.

    i would stay away.

He's not too slow, he just doesn't know how to cover from the safety spot...still, and that's a big problem.

He ran a 4.27 two seasons ago during this preview of his new electro-shock work out.

He's extremely athletic, but he still plays too much like a linebacker. He wasn't able to convert all the way like Polamalu.

I don?t think he?s the right partner for Rhodes. I?d prefer a coverage safety, that frees up Rhodes to Ballhawk and hit people, with Archuletta, Rhodes would still have to play deep, becaus Archuletta just can?t do it.

If we could sign him with a incentive based contract with only the league minimum garranteed I would jump at it.

    i stand corrected.

yeah not being able to cover is a big problem. i would definitely pass on him.

also i think if i were to have sex with his girl we would start a fire, i mean she is hot and all but could she have just a little bit of body fat.

Why would I watch Bears' games? I don't care about the NFC, and I hate the Bears.

Archuleta misses tackles on receivers because he has bad technique, and he still plays like a linebacker, which isn't good.

What I said was: He's great in run support, he hits like a truck, and he can get after the QB on safety blitzes. All of that is true.

I'd sign him , if cheap enough, because he's one of those guys with that "IT" factor - he's a WINNER - a HARD hitter who would help our young team

You've got that a little reversed there =p

Yeah, he's a big hitter, but I don't think he's an improvement over what we have. Of course, if he brought the wife, perhaps...
