Just because the future looks bright, doesn't mean the present is irrelevant. No need to go raining on everyone's parade. Optimism is healthy. Plus, it ain't like we rebuilt the entire team. We can still be competitive just like we were in 2009 with a rookie QB when we made the title game. No real fan says "who cares". I fucking care. I love this team and have been following them near a decade. I want another playoff run because once you're in, all bets are off. Getting to the playoffs would be great moving forward. Wouldn't it be better to see Geno improve and show us that he can be THAT guy? Would you rather have a complete collapse so we draft a new QB next year, again? If you don't enjoy people talking positively about our chances this year, then you have 2 choices. Don't open the positive threads that or don't come to this site after big wins. I just don't see how anybody can active condemn folks for being positive. We are exceeding expectations by far. Couldn't agree more. Football is always a fun emotional ride each year. I can't believe so many take it so seriously. Yeah I badly want us to win, but I'm not going to actively root for it and bring down others because of a negative attitude. Peeps need to step back from the ledge.
