Anyone know how much of the money he gets to keep? Oh, and obviously take the Jets to cover now! Championship!
The likelihood that he faced a suspension was pretty high, so they cut him before having to write him a big check to sit and watch. Once again, the system keeping young black males in poverty.
I'll be betting both blindly Dolphins +23 and Jets +22.5. Too many points to lay for pro teams, even if they are THAT bad. If you look back the history, 20+ point dogs have covered 6 out of 7 times.
I don't think his release is directly related to the original rape allegations. A few days ago, Robert Klemko wrote an article in SI with new allegations from a different woman. When this came out, both the league and the Patriots warned Brown not to contact this woman, but he allegedly did so anyway, supposedly with an intimidating text message. If you're charged with sexual harassment in the workplace and you contact your accuser despite your employer's order not to do so, you're going to get fired. This is 2019, not a re-rerun of Mad Men. But before we attribute any nobility to the Patriots in releasing Brown, they were just cutting their losses. I'm sure they expect he'll be either suspended or put on the commissioner's exempt list, so they have no reason to keep him around. https://www.si.com/nfl/2019/09/20/a...e-receiver-harassment-intimidation-allegation
I hadn't been keeping up with the story blow by blow so I hadn't seen this latest stuff. How brain damaged do you have to be to send texts to a new accuser despite being told not to... (also, reading ABs texts gives me a headache. How did this guy not flunk out of college...)
unfortunately for Tom he may end up on IR in week 3 or 4, "butthole rapage damage" due to night time intruder
Kavanaugh passed over 4 FBI background checks and none of his partisan accusers can remember hardly any details and no witnesses to back any of it up. Nice try though troll. Try again.
Yikes. Don’t know if he’s guilty of other things, but he sure is guilty of totally screwing himself financially.
brown is clearly not a smart person and is much more emotional then rational, with that said it doesn't mean he is malicious. it's like someone makes 1 late payment because they forgot about the bill and then public opinion calls them a deadbeat who never pays their bills and posts up 1 message from the credit card company saying your payment is late as proof.
