Well... http://www.cbsnews.com/news/face-the-nation-transcripts-july-24-2016-president-obama/ OBAMA: Well, I think, right now, we have gone through a really tough month, and that happens sometimes. We have had a terrorist attack in Orlando, although it does not appear externally motivated, but a deranged man killing scores of people. I guess he wasn't a jihadi after all, just a mentally ill man.
I'm only bumping this thread because it looks like the Fresno murders yesterday raise the "hate crime or terrorist?" question again. Yesterday in Fresno, CA this guys kills three people because he hates white people. While arrested he shouts out "Allah ackbar" yet the Fresno cops are calling it a hate crime and not a terrorist act. Me, I think he's a racist nut and not a terrorist per se but given the previous give and take above: Thoughts?
Anybody who kills multiple random people is by definition a terrorist. His actions sow terror in our communities and put all of our liberties at risk. Charles Whitman was a terrorist in that tower in Austin, even though he claimed no allegiances and made no statements in support of his deranged assault that day.
