Was never on the Cutler one, but I'm most definitely on Super Mario's bandwagon!

I'm hoping for either A.J. Hawk or Mario Williams.

I would be upset if we took Brick. This is why I say this, when oakland took gallery a few years ago and then took that center in the 2nd rd. we all saw how badly their D was affected. They are still trying to get a D together over there. IMO i don't think it pays off to get a lineman that high. There will always be good if not great linemen available later on in the draft. For my money to take a lineman in the top 5 is too much, we need a defensive impact player and am hoping that on draft day I hear

"with the 4th pick the NY Jets select......Mario Williams NC state"

Any of these guys would make me happy at 4...

    Vince Young
    D'Brickashaw Ferguson
    Matt Leinart (doubtful)
    Mario Williams
    AJ Hawk
    Reggie Bush (won't happen)
    Jay Cutler

It's going to be really tough for the Jets to pass on a guy like Vince Young at 4. After that Rose Bowl, alot of people were saying 1st overall pick/top three...It would suck sooo much if he became the next Donovan McNabb and we passed on him:(

I think it's cutler, but Halk would be nice.

Can we merge this thread? Again and again and again?

Honestly as Jabba said the Jets are in a great position with a hell of a choice. You go with one of the "safest" picks with your future franchise left tackle in D'Brickashaw Ferguson, or do you go with one A.J Hawk to pair with Vilma and form one of the best young LB duos in the nfl. Lastly do you go QB with a cutler or the very athletic and celing through the roof Vince Young.

At 4 I want these guys in order of preference.

    1. D'Brickashaw Ferguson
    2. Vince Young
    3. A.J Hawk
    4. Mario Williams(Not sure if he will fall
    5. Leinart(he won't be on the board
    6. Cutler(Please not Kyle Boller II)
