I fear for Leon's career with this guy 'looking out for him'. Alvin looks like he blew back a couple of monster rails before each picture was taken.

I wentr through about 20 of those pictures and didn't recognize a single celebrity. I guess Leon was the guest of honor.
I don't think it's this guy's fault that Leon can't get a contract signed. This is a chronic Jets issue. I think they don't want to upset the apple cart because Jones is also angling for an extension. I think that's a mistake, and I'd have dumped Jones the minute he started complaining, but with a rookie quarterback you need as many backs as you can carry. The money paid to Sproles and Jones-Drew obviously set the market at a more difficult point- you don't pay your backup the big bucks and leave your starter out to dry, not on a ball control team. Leon is going to get his money. He's a class act and a great worker. God willing, he stays healthy and he's here for the long haul. -X-
Jones isn't getting one, but I'd be shocked if Leon gets one before this season. I think it's more likely than not Leon rises and Jones declines a bit this season, and at the end, the Jets will pay him. -X-
I guess I don't understand your point. The Jets have been negotiating with Washington and have a $5 million/year deal on the table for him to accept. They told Jones they're not negotiating with him. So your whole theory about upsetting an apple cart seems to be wrong.
