    1) FS- Absolute need.
    2) CB- Is there someone better than Lowry out there?
    3) NT- Jenkins went down in one game and the entire D suffered. Pouha should be in the stands hawking hotdogs.
    4) WR- We have depth but still don't have that true #1 threat- granted only about 10 teams in the league have such a receiver but I'd like to be one of them.
    5) OL Depth- Wayne Hunter as RT didn't really serve to reassure me very much. I'd prefer seeing him come in as a TE/eligible receiver right now.

-- Need NFL Quality Starter --
Our biggest need IMO is the one spot on offense or defense where we don't currently have an NFL caliber starter at. Safety opposite Rhodes.

    1) Safety

-- Need Immediate Upgrade to Starter --
After that there are a few positions IMO that need immediate upgrades. Given that our offense has been the biggest problem in recent years IMO, I'd go with the offensive position first. I am a supporter of Thomas Jones and think he is a solid running back, but if we can get a rookie back with game breaking speed and power that can take 20 carries a game it would be a big upgrade.

    2) Game Breaking RB.

Again on the offensive side, we need a big time receiver that demands double coverage. We need our T.O., R. Moss, Fitzgerald, Johnson ...

    3) Big time receiver.

Back to the defensive side of the ball, we need someone to step up as the nickel corner spot. Coleman blows, and Poteat appears to be on the downside of his career. Miller doesn't look like he'll ever amount to anything other than a kick returner. I think Lowery will be a fine #2 with experience even though he's getting picked on this year.

    4) Nickel/Dime back.

    -- Need Depth/Future --
The current regime has yet to draft a 3-4 DE.

    5) DE

I echo what others have said about NT depth.

    6) NT

Barton will eventually need to be replaced/upgraded.

    7) ILB

The o-line could use a big, strong road grading RT of the future.

    8) RT

As well as a similar G of the future.

    9) RG

I am holding onto hope that one of our young QB's can develop into a solid NFL starter. Once Favre leaves we'll have a few guys with experience in the system. QB's that spend a number of years in the same system learning the ropes tend to do pretty well when they get there turn. I'm personally pulling for Ratliff.

Agree with some of the posts here already.

    1) more aggressive OC and DC

Take the training wheels off of Favre and let the HOF play!

No prevent defense - keep blitzing all game long. That helps our DB a lot.

    2) backup NT

I'd be happy using our first or second round pick on this position if a good one were available (Raji ?).

    3) big RT/RG

Maybe get some more push in the running game. Herman "The House" Johnson from LSU - 6 feet 7, 375 pounds.
