We need Ivory back, and when the fuck is Ridley coming back? We had no running game today, and Fitz needs to play more within himself. He can't make those deep throws. W/ Geno - he connects on that Devin Smith deep ball.
Fitz wasn't good today but he sure didn't get much help. 2 turnovers caused by his #1 WR, no blocking on screen plays, a bunch of dropped passes and a punt return for a TD by the iggles. This is what happens when you have an average QB and all that shit happens. His underthrows on Devin Smith a few times really hurt.
Smith allowed himself to be pinned to the sidelines so he was never in position to make the catch. Rookie mistakes that can be corrected. What can't be corrected is those deep rainbows that Fitz put up today. The man has Pennington's arm...
The problem is he has no arm so when we play behind he presses and we say hello to int after int......we had this game tye problem we run into that Geno is no bettter
Might as well get used to that template cause once the film gets around the league, we'll be seeing that every week.
Another week like this and that has to be it for Fitz. He offers no upside, has a weak arm, and will not improve at thus point in his career. A mediocre game next week and you make the move to Geno after the bye without thinking twice. Let's remember that Fitz did not beat Geno out for this job
Fitz didn't play well but he wasn't put in a good position. Play calling was shit first half. We were down significantly going into half. We didn't have Ivory and Fitz threw the ball for 58 times. That is a recipe for disaster. There are less than 5 QB's in this league that I would want to throw the ball 58 times in a game. Fitz is capable of starting all year and getting us twice as many wins as last year. However, Geno could probably do the same. Fitz is a backup, not the savior of the Jets. We can skate by with him but Geno gives us a higher ceiling. Regardless, unless Geno is leaps and bounds better than last year we aren't gonna get above average play at the QB position.
Exactly. You can win with him when the D forces early turnovers and gets you the lead. If he is forced to play a back and forth or from behind, he lacks the talent to do it
Look as bad as it was. If we didn't miss tackles, drop balls, and had a decent run game this game was winable. Fitz is what he is. He doesn't have a deep ball and without a running game he is a sitting duck. No excuses but while Fitz is without blame the D and the running game was dissimal.
One of those deep balls, if it was thrown a few yards ahead would've been 6 for the Jets. Fitz has to stop making those throws, if he doesn't Geno Smith will start after the BYE.
I think Smith could have had 2 or 3 big deep catches today, at least one being a TD if the ball was put out there on a rope for him. Fitz hung him out to dry.
Damn straight. If Geno has a so called higher play expectation which his fan claims and he sucked than yes.

Fitz should've had 5 picks today. He played horrible and Philly was missing key guys on defense. Miami has a better defense than Philly so this may get worse
How I wish Petty was ready.....niether Futz or Geno is the guy. One with a worse arm then shoulder destroyed Pennington and the other with an arm and scrambled eggs for brains
