Finally we agree on something Junc, or maybe you will find a reason not to, anywho I thought they were fair, they were giving Cromartie alot of credit for shutting down Moss and they mentioned how Cromartie made adjustments to how he defended Marshal, forcing him to the outside and taking away the inside.
Collinsworth is one of the best analysts on TV now and Michaels is always great. People just say everyone is anti-Jets unless everything they say is Pro-Jets.

He was. He was going to leave after that for the USFL but I don't think he ever did. I always felt like Al MIchaels hated the Jets but the past ten years or so that we've been good he seems to give us a little more credit.
Collinsworth is a jerk. What aggravated me was when on the Jets opening drive he said Mangold was 'destroyed' by the Dolphins DT Paul Soliai when if you watched the replay, Mangold was pulling and barely touched Soliai as he was running by. Mangold was not 'destroyed' on the play.......just silly.
Colinsworth sounds too smug for me. Michaels is good though. I enjoy when he randomly brings up hockey too.
Did you see the graphic they showed of all the local NY/NJ teams and when they last won a championship? Of course my two most beloved teams, the Knicks and Jets, took up the last two spots. As I've said many many times, thank god for the Devils.

yes this is quickly becoming the best way to watch any sporting event. you can save yourself at least an hour or so of complete and utter BS and commmercials. Its the best way to go imho.

I agree. I actually really like Collinsworth and Michaels...but last night was clear they were NOT thrilled about the Jets winning this game. They didn't even call the game ending interception....

I totally disagree. I think Michaels and Collinsworth are the best booth team doing NFL games right now. I'll take their intelligence and lack of enthusiasm over all the false enthusiasm and blatant stupidity of the rest.
The only thing that bothered me was the way Tony Dungy was saying he would have benched Edwards for the game yet I don't recall him saying that the Colts should have done that for Fili Moala's DWI a week before the season started. The difference is Edwards is a star and Moala is a scrub but the standard should be the same. I wonder if it's because Jim Caldwell is his boy and he doesn't care for Ryan?
