Al Davis Died

    I hated the Raider and Al Davis because for most of my life the Raiders and Al Davis represented the kind of team I wish we had.

    There is no doubting that Al Davis had a huge impact on the NFL, and was one of the great characters of all time. RIP Al.

    Al Davis was kind of senile at the end and wasn't doing a great job, but he was one of the most important football people ever. The Raiders were about 100 games over .500 when he was involved in the team, that's pretty freakin good. Yeah, he lost it a bit at the end, but he got old, it happens.

    R.I.P. Love seeing old Al Davis/Raiders footage.

    That was kind of my feeling, too.

    The Raiders got those AL stickers together and put on the helmets awful fast, think they had them ready to go?
