It was but when your RBs can't run and you have no WRs to throw to it makes life difficult as a QB. I HOPE Miami goes w/ Henne, they have spent a decade trying to find a decent QB to replace marino and after running Fiedler out of town they have gone through 5-6 guys and finally found a good one again. If thye go to Henne it will be back to hoping fopr a good QB like Feely, Daunte, Green, Lemon, etc...
Exactly. I hope to hell they bench or get rid of Chad, it would be the best thing to happen to us. Funny how everyone forgets the 16 games that got them to their playoff game.
You don't know that. You may hope it.......but it was talked about last season that Parcells thinks Henne is gonna be a big star and Parcells HAS had pretty good instincts as far as QB's go. Simms was good, Bledsoe was pretty good, he grabbed Vinny off the scrap heap and he was good, he found Romo who is pretty good, and he brought in Chad who was good last year. No offense, but I would value Parcells opinion over yours if he thinks Henne is gonna be good
Parcells is not the coach and Parcells did not bring in Phill Simms and tried to run Simms out of town. he drafted Bledsoe and Bledsoe was an overrated, mediocre QB. Parcells doesn't have a great track record bringing in QBs.
If Bryan Thomas can have Gastineau's number and Kenyon Coleman can have Lyons' than it's safe for Ainge to take Pennington's. (At least Salaam's number is properly represented by Mangold.)
