Neither QB can make this offense better. I would tell Schotty to call better plays than throw out pennington. Take out pennington, we might get worse, our turn over ratio could be higher. Mangini might see this as if he turns to Clemens he could lose this team even more so than he has now.
Throwing a 6 yard pass to the left side isn't going to be any better than the 6yard pass to the right side. The muddle huddle, shift, man in motion, shot gun, 3 step, 5 step or play action variety still isn't going to put points on the board with Pennington at QB. It's not his fault, he doesn't have an NFL arm anymore.
