While it would be awesome to take first place all alone next week, lets keep in mind we just barely beat the Titans. Granted, it had a lot to do with Nugent, but Tenn shot themselves in the foot over and over by committing penalties. Remember, we scored a TD after an INT was called back on a bad call. We aren't going to get lucky like that against New England. Not to mention, Belli has all week to drill it into his guys heads to stuff 8 up front and come at Chad with everything they have every play. The visions of grandeur have started. I like what I saw today, but come on guys. Not to rain on the parade, but we are still not that good a team. Could this win carry over, and boost us next week? Sure. Could Barlow have been purposely held back today so that NE cannot game plan for him enough? Sure. Is it realistic to think we can beat the Pats right now? I honestly don't think so. If we do though, we are set up for a very shocking season. I want it to happen very badly. I'm just not going to get my hopes up right now.
It will be a good game. No doubt about it. Mangini knows New England. However, New England may know him too.
