Just as importantly both Houston and SF may have their divisions locked up as well. And yes that is a schedule break for the Patriots. The bigger issue is that the Jets have no one on their offense to help Sanchez. Keller is adequate, Hill is a rookie and the running game is weak. Sanchez is getting a lot of heat, much of it deserved but the offense is horrible.

Ah, um, ah, ahhhh what? The Pats might stuggle to win 10? so 5 more losses or more. Look at their two losses, 2 points to 4-0 AZ (w/o Hernadez whos coming back) which if Ghost had hit a 42 yarder they win and 1 pt loss to Balt in their building (w/o Hernadez whos coming back). Any thoughts on outside of losig their top defensive and offensive player how that reasonably happens? Or is the use of might like the Jets might make the SB so dont IR Revis?

Pretty much, although Sanchez isn't doing much to help himself.

The Pats have a very losable game this week. Jets could still be in 1st with a loss this week. Bills will lose. I bet the division doesn't change much at all in week 5, unless the Jets somehow pull off this miracle.

They might. Their best showcase came against Buffalo, a team the Jets put up their best game against. They have a tough schedule and couple bad breaks like the missed FG, and that drops you from 13-3/14-2 range to 10-6/11-5 range.

It's not out of the realm of possibility. Nobody thought the Pats would have two losses this quickly. So 2 in 4 and then expecting 3/4 over the next 12 isn't too crazy with games against Denver, Houston, SF, @SEA, divisional games. I wouldn't be surprised if they went 14-2 or 10-6.

The Pats have the division but they might have it at a worse record than usual is what I am saying

Im not as optimistic anymore so therefore I expect the Jets to win 6 games at most. We have no receivers and no running backs, and a shaky QB. 2012 is going to be your classic shitty Jets season.

    But I hope I'm wrong.

We couldn't win the division over the Pats when we were a much better,
and healthier, team in 2009, 2010 or 2011.
The likelihood of that happening this year is about the same as Sanchez dumping Eva Longoria for Whoopi Goldberg.

If Whoopi was 17, she might have a shot.

Thats true. I dont think theyll go 0 fer those 4 games, especially with 3 of 4 at home but its a possibility. They dug themsleves a hole regarding home field throughout the playoffs for sure now. Hope the Jets do something to salvage the season although it'll be very tough w/o Revis/Holmes. Makes for a very boring divison otherwise

The entire division will lose this week and we'll be in first place at 2-3

probably more than a 50% chance of this happening

The Pats could pretty easily be 2-3 by the 5 game mark.

I know you don't want to see it but all dynasties come to an end and the Pats have been on extended time the last few years because Brady has stayed healthy and at top form at an age where that's usually not the case.

I could easily see them winding up 9-7 by the end of the season and thinking about reloading moving forward. It's going to happen one of these years really soon now and a year where they started off 2-2 is as likely a candidate as any.

Dude, Bill is not scared of any of our QB's. Sanchez's only really good game was in the playoffs. He has been destroyed many more times than he has "lit" it up!!
