It had the makings of a halfway decent debate last week, but unfortunately it was in one of the threads about the Patriots having no class. The INT posts got buried and I opted to not pursue the thing. If I'm a coach, there are specific scenarios where I'm telling my players to knock down passes. The McCree scenario is not one.
NOPE. The Pats knew they had to get the ball back because the Colts were going to score. They had 2nd & 2 around the 3/4 and Were about to get a 1st. The Pats were going for the win. And Sorry to tell you but Manning did Tell JETS fans To go Fk themselves. Keep reading the Press stories and Believing that Parcells trade BS. He wasn't coming here. Period. But, you're entitled to your opinion...and I hate to tell you but I'm entitled to mine.
We'll agree to disagree on Manning. I did see you mention Manning and choke in the same sentence quite a few times, so I'm not sure if you really would have wanted him on the team. The Patriots could have stopped the Colts and made them settle for a FG. You can't purposefully allow a go-ahead touchdown around the 1-minute mark. If the scored was tied or if the Colts were winning by 1 point, the Patriots could have purposefully allowed a TD. But that was not the case. The Patriots were winning by 3 points.
Yeah, like he would have played in the SB anyway. I'm still amazed at the number of Jets fans who like the guy.
HELLL YESS... colts for the win.. im rooting for the colts in the SB cause dungy said it ITS THE POWER OF THE LORD , nah but this was a amazing game and peyton showed heart
I don't know about shocked but they definitely should have called a time out after the first play. Thankfully, they didn't. What a game.
