One of the most telling stats and the biggest change I felt Favre brought has been 3rd down completion percentage. The Jets convert 41% of the time while the Dolphins 35%. Favre is one of the better QB's on 3rd down that I've seen. There are throws he makes that you cringe at but there are also throws that he makes that very few other QB's in the league will make. You take the good with the bad and this year we've been better then not 9 times to 5.

You have game tape on chad playing with our offense this year? Well lets see it.

And ya I get it, now Brett Farve is the reason we have a good running game and not the upgrades we made to the O line.

Well...TJ is number one.So that begs a second question. Tell me what the YPC is for your '19' vs. our '37'...

There isn't a GM on the planet that would trade Leon johnson for Ricky williams straight up.

37 on that list is the most explosive player in the NFL.

(Most 40+ yard plays in football)

I agree on the trade part, however if the weather is bad for our last meeting of the year, Ricky will be very valuable in the running game.

I have several painful yeears of Chadtape.

The simple fact of the matter is Favre puts the ball in smaller windows, and gets it there faster than Chad ever will.

Let me ask you this...How many pick sixes on out routes has Favre thrown to the same set of wideouts this year?

Who has actually scored more points this year?

I like Leon Washington. Do you have him locked up for awhile?

    ????

Hard to run when you're playing from behind.

If Leon washington ever sees free agency, the GM should be shot.

Agreed. Look at Turner leaving the Chargers what it did to the Chargers. I knew that Turner would be very successful watching him here in Chargerland all the time.

Thats your arguement for why Chad would only have 6 wins on the Jets this year?

Small passing windows and pick sixes have not kept chad from out playing farve nearly every week of the season. Or from getting 9 wins with considerbly less talent.

Chad has 9 wins with a defense that has allowed fewer points.

Chad hasn't outplayed Favre ever this season.

    20 TD's >12 TD's.

Number one Rusher in the Conference. (Hint...we don't see 8 in the box on every play)

6 runs plus 40 yards...(we didnt have six in Chad entire tenure)
do you think it's by happenstance that Thomas Jones has ore rushing TD's in a season than Curtis Martin could get?

and did you miss the part where I pointed out that Henning > > than Schotintheass ?

If you switch the OC's we have 12 wins right now.

Chad has 14 TD passes. Say what you want about Favre's turnovers, but I doubt the jets are winning many games with only 14 passing TD's. What does favre have, 21?

    Yes.

Ole noodle arm whose most quoted stat is passer rating, leads Favre by 8.6 points.

Favre has LESS yardage, and ELEVEN more pics.

The advantage in throwing 21 TDs over 14 is absolutely huge. Teams know that they have to drop their entire defense back. Thus opening up the running game. Penny only throws deep when he's got an easy pass to a guy wide open. That's his deep game... and that's why historically he hasn't thrown a lot of TDs. I'll take those picks and a 9-5 record any day of the week. Favre has always had a high number of picks, because he love to throw deep. So did many of the great passers, including Marino, including Elway (higher INT to TD % than Favre). Why are you people bitching? Unless the Seahawks pull something our of the Arse, a 4-12 team from last year is going to be going into week 17 against the Phins, to win the division.
