It's going to be hit or miss with Gase. He's shown a lot of good qualities as a coach that you like to see. Zero tolerance for BS from players. I think he wants to build a good disciplined culture. He's going to be a heck of a lot more prepared and capable regarding gameplanning, scheming, adjustments than Bowles. But he also seems like a guy that can be intolerable and detached
It's not about his approach. It's about the results he gets. If he wins he'll stick around possibly for a very long time if he doesn't he won't but that's how it goes for every HC around here no matter their approach.

I'm really sad about this. I just moved to a new area and am starting a new job soon. I thought we would do the right thing and hire McCarthy a Super Bowl winning quarterback. I thought things were turning a new leaf. When Rhule said he was staying a Baylor I was so excited. I thought I was going to be able to confidently say to people "I'm a Jets fan." Instead, it's more of the same. People laugh at the Jets and they are laughing at this stupid move. I'm done with this team. I'm no longer telling people that I'm a Jets fan. When we get back into the playoffs I will come back as a fan.
