Let Tebow play the rest of the season. At least it will be entertaining. Hopefully we get some high draft picks too.

I just don't see that happening. Unless someone told Rex to do it or there is the door. Actually, I don't think he would do it then either. I think he is dug in on this issue and made his stand.

I'd be happy to see anyone other than Sanchez at this point. He's been worse than I could have imagined. He needs a reality check.

Rex was asked in his presser if he'd consider giving Greg a shot and he basically laughed.

I saw that. Unfortunately, Rex is the one getting laughed at these days.

Unless Rex makes a change at QB or unless Sanchez miraculously gets it together, we will have a new head coach next year.

    or maybe we won't.

maybe Woody will keep Tanny and Rex on board and demand Sanchez be given an extension. if woody knows what's good for him he will be making some serious changes this offseason. BC if he doesn't he will never recover from it in the eyes of the fans.

With the SB up here next season, I think zero chance Rex or Tanny is let go. Even if the Jets finish this season 3-13, ownership keeps it together for a final SB run with an entrenched coach/GM.

It's no slam against McElroy. Just the notion that Tebow would get jumped over is something only entertained by the Hater Brigade.

Tebow's one of the best backups in the NFL, with a different skill set that might work alongside the Jets under-talented offensive roster. The notion that you'd put McElroy in where Sanchez failed is, as Rex's reaction indicates, laughable.

The Superbowl is in NY next year. Woody isn't dumping both the GM and Coach and giving up all hope of playing in the Superbowl at home so I think Rex gets another year to figure it out.

The question is does he dump Tanny and (hopefully) Bradway? They need better personnel people and a Football guy as GM, not a bean counter capologist or was that crapologist ; )

In the end its becoming painfully clear that a complete house-cleaning is necessary. Rex is D-coordinator period end of story. To suggest that he's in any way a head coach is a insult to bad head coaches in the league.

Tanny sucks and Bradway as the head personnel guy is worse than Tanny because he's supposed to be a football guy capable of evaluating talent.

Sporano reminds me of a combination of Paul Hackett, Ray Handley and Rich Kotite. Not the company you want to be mentioned with by anyone.

Sanchez will be a back up on some other team after next year. Hopefully Tebow is gone next year.

sanchez is a wco qb only. tebow requires a whole different offense suited for him. by default, the only guy they can use without changing the offense entirely is mcelroy.

simple facts, which is why it won't happen. the front office/coaching staff don't understand those: sanchise is 29th ranked qb in the league, yet he's still starting! :shit:

Having Julio Jones to throw to with Trent Richardson and Mark Ingram in the backfield, with a awesome defense, it would be criminal if he didn't win there :eek:hmy:

sanchise had even more talent around him at usc.

difference is that his head coach came right out and said he was not ready for the nfl. saban made no such assessment of mcelroy.

and, mcelroy is more suited to play behind our current o-line due to mobility and accuracy , both of which he has way over sanchise.

Ask the Dolphins if Saban's opinions matter.

:finssuck: Who cares what the Dolphins think about anything! :finssuck:

Nick Saban is a football genius and what he previously accomplished at LSU and now Alabama proves that. At Miami he discovered that working with teachable college athletes was far easier then working with pampered, know it all, professionals. He does know talent though.

I am of the believe that we should evaluate the backup talent we have at QB, both Tebow and McElroy, so we know whether or not we have any talent at all. Having that knowledge will determine our draft selections going forward. No matter who our starting QB is, we need a reliable backup in case he goes down.

Even though Sanchez won Sunday against the Rams I still do not think he is our QB of the future and should be JETtisoned as soon as it is cap friendly to do so. At that point we need to know what we have on the team now... :jets::jets::jets:

Nick Saban's not a football genius, he's a recruiting genius.

It is one thing to bash Sanchez after a shitty game or performance I get it I do the same. What I don't get is hoping he does fail.

This season is not over McElroy and Tebow have obviously not shown enough in practice to get Sanchez benched. Can he do worse yes he can that is why he is not starting.

We are still in the playoff hunt Sanchez is still the best QB on the roster here is hoping he continues to play well.
