It depends how he plays, and how far we go.

The money does carry over to next year and its likely the Jets will need it plus it adds flexibility this year in case someone goes down. Not to mention Revis will likely be wanting a new deal next year.

Whats up with Ihedigbo? Has he signed anywhere?

I'm not crazy about Brodney and Ihedigbo is a great athlete who always brings the intensity.

Damien Woody is retired and happy. He's not coming back.

Time to move on from this pipe dream.

Ihedigbo is a very good special teams contributor and a football player, as well as being a physical specimen. It really suprises me that he hasn't been signed by another team at this point. There's probably something we don't know.

good point. i would've thought someone would have grabbed him after this long. this could explain why he's not currently a jet, as from my point of view... he is kinda someone who fits the needs of Ryan's schemes.

  12. If any restructuring is done, I think it would be to absorb more cap hit this year, reducing next year's hit. Sanchez already has a big hit this year, but making it bigger would help this upcoming offseason and beyond.

As it stands, I'm not sure there is anyone available now who would be worth freeing cap space to sign. That may change by the end of preseason cuts, but I'm not sure if anyone that big would be available. Still, we may see a restructuring, maybe in the form of an extension of another year, the first week of the regular season. If that happens, the deal will likely open up room for next year, so the team can land another big WR out of that deep WR UFA class, as well as dealing with S and OLB. Many positions right now are solidified long-term. There aren't that many long-term holes on this team.

Let's see how the backups do in this game & the next one. We'll also have a better idea of when Turner wil be back.

If no one proves worthy & Turner needs a long rehab then yeah I agree.

  15. I think it would be wise to get rid of Mangold, Ferguson, Moore, Salusen, guys like that. The offensive line on this team is a joke, as the Texans game showed. Worst unit in football, by far.

Yeah the Patriots are way better and obviously have the best O-Line in the league...god why aren't we more like them.../sarcasm

I think we should act fast as FA has slim pickings

Lock up Keller now so that we won't have any more holdouts like Revis.
