maybe with Abe realizing that he's not going to get what he expects, he'll comeback to earth and sign a contract with the JETS (if they can't trade him for fair compensation) Yes, a mid - high 1st rd pick would be good for a rebuilding team, but it would be stupid to let the team's only real impact/game changing player go for nothing (a backup QB). He can say what he wants about "not wanting to be here", but he'll be playing for the cash.
The Jets haven't even contacted him about negotiating a long-term contract. I don't think he is in their plans.
