You're the one who asked me if it wasn't Woody who set up a plan requiring Idzik to keep Ryan for a year and then decide to fire him while also claiming Idzik had an incentive to sabotage a season. It is pretty bizarre to claim an NFL General Manager sabotaged anything for his own team.

And why would you support the idea that Idzik had the power to fire Ryan since Ryan reported directly to Johnson, not to Idzik. In any event, didn't Idzik get fired the same day as Ryan?

Again, I don't remember a single claim that Idzik sabotaged anything. It's your claim; do whatever you want with it. It also has nothing at all to do with the topic here so I can't understand why you made it here.

Good, bye Sauce, bye Garett….not like they’ve won anything here either fellas. How about Q? What has he won. let’s not be content with putting the Blame on #8. Blow the fucker up AGAIN! Aren’t you all a little tired of that…

are you guys really telling me the Jets are a QB away? If so, WHO? I’ve seen Justine fields name…really?

And here’s the hard truth, 8 still gives us the best chance next year. It’s 2026 that is the problem.
they need to get rid of Hackett, that POS line coach in Keith carter…this team is FULL of top tier talent that can’t get out of its own way. This is not on Aaron Rodgers. He’s been a winner his entire career…it’s been a decade since the Jets were…

All you Aaron deniers are full of hate and want to blame someone, that the media tells you to hate. Sounds awful familiar to the shenanigans going on the past 4 years in the political world.

Yes the media tells us the Jets are 4–12. They also tell us the Jets won more games with Zach Wilson

I’m not an Aaron denier. I actually quite like the guy and, other than an unrealistic shot to get Lamar Jackson, he was the guy I wanted all along. He was a 2 year hail mary that I knew would either give us the success we were dearly craving or he would torch the entire team. Either way the outcome is better than spending 4 years of basic blah listening to fans desperately trying to convince themselves that David Carr is anything more than the most basic, injury prone, thin skinned QB in the league. Rodgers was the guy. Now he’s not and he needs to go. Swallow the 49m cap hit now and start over.

It’s fine, we’re going to see the same outcome as before, why wouldn’t we, we’re the fucking Jets.

-Jets draft Defense in round 1 or reach on a QB
-Jets sign Winston or another stop gap and keep TT
-Rodgers gets released post June 1st
-Rodgers signs with Miami, Jax, Seattle….and takes them to the playoffs (ala Farve)
    -Jets finish 6-11, 7-10

better than the 5 wins we will have this year, so that’s a success right?!

Just the same old shit guys. Jets and their fans clearly can’t stand greatness

    Let’s be honest, it’s not 2 seasons…as of right now, it’s not even 1

2nd year back from Achilles surgery is usually the year the player is back to form. We will see how it all plays out. The Jets will likely make the wrong decision either way, just who this organization is.

hope we win today and Aaron balls out.
Would be nice to see AR, BH, GW, DA get one more shot next year.
2026 is the real issue guys.

So now we can’t even count full seasons he’s been here? You are unreasonably attached to Rodgers

he’s old, old players get hurt and 42 year olds don’t “come back to form”

Does that mean a guy who's been around for five years but only played in 34 games was only here for two seasons?

Rodgers is a huge obstacle to improvement of the entire organization - move on!

lol “Greatness”… Rodgers is not great. He WAS great, he’s not now nor has he been in a few years now

Who goes to the bench in Miami (Tua?) or Jacksonville (Lawrence?) I wouldn’t start Rodgers over their current starters. Hell I probably wouldn’t start him over Geno. Least he can move around on the field…
