His politics being borderline unsafe is just the icing on the cake of the entire situation. To be clear 90% of what I care about here is the fact that he’s inviting in a shit load of outside noise while pretending to be a “leader” that wants to eliminate bullshit, not to mention it will actually hurt the team on the field as well.
Makes you think about man-boobs Dawkins’ comments about how the Jets only care about social media than winning games. The team leader is exhibit 1 here
Idk what it is about athletes or tv entertainers that makes them think they are qualified to lead this country. People kiss their asses too much I guess and it gets to their heads
Some, like Rodgers, want to be viewed as deep thinkers, not just mere football players or entertainers. In Rodgers' mind, he transcends football and is the Most Interesting Man in the World. Going in, we all knew that Rodgers is a narcissist and an attention whore. However, with each passing week, we see he's far worse than any of us ever imagined.
Fair enough. I did say he was a solid gold asshole, I think we all knew that was part of his package.
The lord has blessed me with an opportunity to do good things, it would be unconscionable not to take advantage of it to do some good.
And you’ve just had some kind of mushroom and your mind is moving low Go ask Alice I’ll think she’ll know… Does that mean ticket prices will go up?
They better. Not every day you can say you watch a football game in the presence of an ambassador and a VP candidate we are so blessed
Wait. How can Kennedy-Rodgers be considered a 'failed candidacy' if it kicks Biden out of the White House? I know all 13 Jets fans will vote for them!
Meh, speak for yourself and leave the politics out of it. I believe we have a forum for that, fact is there is no candidate that is worth a shit currently (arguably the least liked candidates for election in our history, facts not speculation) and I won't spread my agenda here but I think (or hope) we are all adult enough to speak candidly about the topic without shoving our questionable political agenda on everyone.
Well Rodgers will need to make a choice: either play QB for the Jets as he promised and is contracted to do, or run in a doomed quest for the VP job. At this point I almost hope he chooses the latter. I'm sick of the distractions he causes, and more so, the false hope he gives to those who believe he can stay healthy and end this team's playoff drought, let alone bring them to a SB. I'm ready to blow the whole thing up right now even knowing I probably won't live to see them succeed in any rebuild.
I can see his new reailty show this summer. Hard Knocks: Veep. Rodgers came to NY for the media spotlight and nothing more. This is going to end so badly.
Woody shows up with Trump every chance he gets. Now Rodgers in the thick of news with politics. Let's keep this thread open until it entirely derails. For real, what will happen to our cap space if Rodgers runs for VP and retire?
