Wrong. . As usual. You posted VERBATIM: "What's important here, if Rodgers becomes a Jet, is what he will do in the future. If you have the ability to see into the future, please let us know, we all need some investment tips.. Until then what he can do for the NY Jets is unknown." So, you were talking about "the future" and in particular the "unknown future" at which point I posted a song titled "Tomorrow Never Knows" . . That you couldn't see the OBVIOUS connection between "in the future/see into the future" and "Tomorrow Never Knows" clearly demonstrates an inability to connect the two and why I've felt compelled to color-code "future/tommorow" and further, for me to identify and comment on this apparent shortfall of yours in making the 'connection' was a mere observation and can hardly be misconstrued as an ad hominem (or 'personal insult' as you call it). Btw @Brook! please note, thank you. "Off topic?" . Clearly not. . . . "Personal insult?" . Hardly. .
Post all the songs you want but they have nothing to do with Aaron Rodgers. Deny all you want the personal attacks you're known for, they only make you look more foolish.
I bet Woody is flattered about some caring about Rodgers contract, but seriously why care if he's paid the most of any QB? It's for the short term, it's not like he's killing the cap for the next 5-10 years, which probably wouldn't happen anyways because the cap is BS. When part of the counter for Rogers is his salary, I lose respect for the argument.
I'm no spring chicken but not up there with you respectfully. I can perhaps relate even a little closer to those guys being that I am 45, work out pretty regularly (weights, cardio) and play football every Sunday (and I mean every Sunday for over 15 years, might miss 3 a year or so with holidays/vaca and what not) with a group ranging from 14 to well... 45 lol. I'm the oldest and it may take an extra day or two to recover but I can still smoke a lot of the younger guys and I feel pretty damn good out there, so for Rodgers being 39 and a professional athlete (which I am not obviously) I have 0 doubt he will be able to bring it on Sundays.
I used to think I was a pretty good boxer... until I got in the ring to spar with some pros. I can still feel the body shots...
I lost count how many times I’ve reminded people of this and yet there’s always more that just disregard it. People are just gonna believe whatever their mind tells them is true
The only thing anyone should believe will happen is what their lying eyes tell them when it does. If it does.
Just checking in to see if this Rodgers drama is over yet? Maybe I should be asking if it will EVER be over?
I suspect a framework for a draft day deal is already done for Rodgers, but I'm still secretly hoping for a pivot to Lamar Jackson. I know the Ravens get two 1sts if they let someone else sign him outright, but I suspect they want compensation in this upcoming draft, and the only way to do that at this point is to actually make a trade. My dream is to trade the 13th overall to the Ravens for Lamar and the 86th overall. That puts the compensation at roughly the 16th-17th pick (990 points) in the draft according to the old draft pick value chart, and the Jets still keep a top-100 pick in house. Yes, yes, I know, improbable, dumb, no way in hell, stupid, etc. etc. etc. But that's why it's my dream.
I can envision Rodgers finally being traded on draft day, and then going into chill mode until preseason week 2, and then promptly re-injuring his thumb. But that is probably a worst case scenario kind of thing. I keep coming back to the thumb. I know that a lot of times with the nature of the injury he had, requires surgery to correct. If he was 90% retired going into the cave, maybe he wasn't prioritizing corrective surgery. This feels so Jets.
