Aaron Rodgers confirms he wants to play for the JETS!

I'm getting that distinct "Same Ole' Jets" twinge. I keep reading through the threads about "blah blah blah, wait until the 17th" or "they can't do anything until "X" date." Bullshit. I don't care if they can't sign the guy until the 25th of April. I want to know that the guy is coming and the team can focus on adding other players. I want to know if this really is Rodgers mulling retirement and they are trying to talk him out of it! They can do what all the other teams seem to be doing and let the fans in on what's going on!! If he is truly mulling retirement then why in the flippin' F*)k would this team put all their eggs in THAT basket? If there actually IS competition for Rodgers then I don't hold out much hope that the Jets could win that particular battle. It's no mystery that the NY Jets do not land in the top 10 of destinations for veteran players. I've read no less than 4 or 5 stories from our uselessly illustrious media how they can't "wait" to hammer away at Rodgers. Seriously? Not exactly a ringing endorsement to come to the team. I enjoy a good story as much as the next guy but our media can lambaste someone for a whole year on whether or not he farted left instead of right.

I do not like how long it's taking and like, even less, that they aren't communicating to the fan base. If this entire scenario can be jacked up, trust me, the NY Jets will find a way to do it. On top of that, there are ZERO QB's left that I would want on this team outside of Lamar Jackson and I would NEVER condone giving up that much capital for a guy that can't seem to finish a season. We can't even say we have Mike White to fall back on!! We got Zach Wilson and that's it. I want no part of what's left. Let's face it, this sure is an "all or nothing" scenario because we either get Rodgers or "Charlie Brown" will be starting for this team next year and we'll NOT make the playoffs, again, and, worse yet, blow another year of low cost eligibility for three guys (G. Wilson, Sauce & Hall) that we will NEVER be able to sign all three when their contracts are up.

Of course it's not impacting any Jets plans...they don't HAVE any plans outside Rodgers. This guy is flapping his gums to hear himself talk. Every other team out there seems to be able to keep their fans in the loop. Not the good ole' NY Jets baby. Make em' sweat! Wouldn't be a NY Jets' fan's ideal experience without chewing our fingernails down to the "nub" while waiting for some simple news. Unreal...
