I want to agree but I can't. I feel like we lost. The problem is, we have the players to do what we did against the Cards last week and today, but our "coaches" can't gameplan. I am starting to thing that these coaches view strategy as a crap shoot, and if it doesn't work, they just close their eyes and point to a play. Huge question marks right now....Buffalo will be ugly....why? Because the Miami coaches know how to stop or limit a team's strengths and use every player on the team to the best of his ability....their entire system and strategy allows for this.....the Jets coaches do nothing even close to this...... Buffalo pretty much does that too, so we're in trouble. Big time, especially with a QB who decides it is better the lob the ball up for grabs instead of taking a sack or trying to run. Like, come on Mangini, so what if he is a hall of famer, if he is playing like an idiot, tell him not to!!
we do suck... but let's hope that we find ourselves next week. it's not about how you begin or even how you're in the middle. it's about how you finish in this league. after the giants last season, anyone can win this thing. we just need a head of steam going and hopefully our crap games are done with.
Like Herm said long time ago..."YOU PLAY...TO WIN...THE GAME....HELLO?" Don't make pathetic "it's the schedule" excuses for our play today...we should take these opportunities to pound a team into the turf and make a statement...not weakly go through the motions and hope to scrape by until we meet a "motivating" opponent. Please.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! You're killing me...you really are. Put the Kool Aid down and take those green glasses off. We looked like shit out there today and have a tough schedule ahead of us.
yeh but after that mad second quarter and the first drive of the second half sounded like the defence sorted itself out (I could only listen today)....we moved the ball quite efficiently for the most part...without Favre's mistakes (and he's really gotta just hold onto them in the endzone) seems like we would have won quite comfortably
