    ughhh some people obviously care haha look at Thomas Jones... now i know he is not the only one on the team who felt that way now theres your rationalization to the thread...

    dont believe it for one second that the FO doesnt have any input on the Captain the Nfl when it comes down to it is all about Dollars Favre being the face of the franchise and captain sells Jerseys and god knows what else...

    They sold millions of Favre jerseys before he had the silly "C" on his jersey. fans don't care who the Captains are. I do think coaches sometimes manipulate the results but I doubt they did in this case.

    I've been thinking the same thing about Mangini. I guess it's because Cowher cowered, and I thought Mangini's firing was in part due to the fact that Woody had Cowher in waiting.

    That's the last time I will give Woody the benefit of the doubt.

    Maybe he also happened to be a Brett Favre fan? Brett Favre was kind of a big deal before the Jets too.
