Thomas is a 3-4 OLB, and one of the big reasons why we moved Abe in the first place is he wouldn't fit into a 3-4, he is way too small for it, and as for Ferg we tried to sign him but he went where there was more money, so that shouldn't be an issue anyway
In my original Post I was referring to Abe as our DE because of our old 4-3 Obviously he wouldn't be playing the DE here, A DE in a 3-4 should be bigger but not the LB position. At the LB Position Speed is Necessary. IOW, Abe would be playing the LB Position that BT is playing and would be doing just fine and providing us with the Pass rush we're missing. Just like we did With McKenzie, Coles, Jordan and a few others? Low balling them or not wanting to pay them at all because Bradway was an Idiot. This isn't news but Better players are supposed to be paid more Unfortunately we had that Idiot deciding where the money went.
While that is true, Abe will bitch since being a 3-4 OLB he ain't going to get the type of money that he would want, compared to if he stayed as a 4-3 pass rusher, and add to the fact that he is as fragile as Pennington so it doesn't even make much sense to overpay for him just to be on the sidelines, and also I don't think Mangini would stand for players bitching for more money anyway
If the Jets can get the Addai and Rhodes under control early we will make a game of it. Despite his surreal production, prototypical skills and proven success, I still do not fear the arrival of Corky Manning. Jets 27 Colts 24.
depending on whether the line goes up or down throughout the week will tell us what the general population thinks....the opening line is set by vegas
9 points is too much. If you figure home field is worth 3, that's effectively a 12-point spread. I expect that to diminish toward the end of the week, especially if they're predicting rain. Taking the 9 has to be the bet of the week. This game has the potential of being a nail-biter.
