They can show me. That's the way I'll believe it.

BTW, after the first Miami game Bart Scott was quoted as saying that the Jets would either get their act together against Buffalo or they'd collapse. He was right. At the time I thought he was nuts to say that, but he's been around a lot of locker rooms and obviously he saw something.

Edit: what he actually said was: "you either come back and respond to this (the defensive letdowns against Miami in game 1) or you go down and start pointing fingers and falling apart."

If the Jets collapse this year Ryan will be gone after next year? Wouldn't the team's performance NEXT year play into that decision????????????????????????????

Should Sean Payton have been fired after last year? Marvin Lewis??

Sean Payton took his team to the NFC finals his first year and had back to back dissapointing years. They brought in a new DC to try and fix the problem. They also got rid of dead wood and replaced them with new players.

The Jets collapsed last year a choke of epic proportions. The team staterted 3 and 0 and have gone 1 and 4 since with the only win against an Oakland team that gave up after the first turnover. This 1 and 4 was against 1 good team and 2 bad teams in the division.

If these team was to finish with a 6 or 7 win season I'm not sure you fire Ryan, but I'm sure you have to reeavaluate the talent and the mix and that might mean Tannenbaum gets the axe and of course a new GM might want to start fresh with his own HC.

This team has really sucked the last several weeks against some really mediocre teams. If they don't turn it around right now allot of these so called great players and the GM and coach have to take some of the blame. That's the nature of big time sports.

THIS IS A THREAD BY NYJ2K09

After Going (3-0) the last 6 games the Jets vs. opponents points have been:

    Opponents-125
    Jets-135

    Record during that stretch: (1-5)

Stuff like that blows my mind.

    thats the problem my friend

Those kind of numbers really mean just one thing: the coaching is pretty terrible at this point.
