We are good to go, we don't need to move up. With # 29 I would like to go with a corner or NT. #4, I dunno, maybe trade down 4 or 5 spots and get a player we need in the deal....because there's alot we can do at #4 but I dunno if its the best decision to pick there. I still want D-Brick, especially if we get Runyan. Yes we all won in the trade, great deal....
YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSS!!!!! WWWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOTTTTTTTTT! :breakdance:
It's a good trade, but I don't care about the Broncos or the Falcons. It'll still suck to see Abe take ATL to another level.
Yeah pretty good trade for all the teams involved. So are you leaving the board now? hmy:
I agree, its better than the #31 the Seahawks were offering Do you guys think the jets will trade down from #4 now to maybe the vikings or another team
Denver had to be involved to give us the first rounder we desired. Atlanta wasn't giving up their first rounder so they acquired one much lower, to get this thing done.
I dont get it. Atlanta dealt its 15th for Abe, a 3rd and a 4th in 2007. I would have like to see the Jets add a 3rd and a 2007 4th to move to 15th instead of landing 29th. Dont get me wrong, I am happy to get 29 instead of 31. However, before you guys criticize me... Would you deal the 29th along with a 3rd and 2007 4th rounder for #15? I sure would.
No, Atlanta didn't keep the 1st rounder, they sent it to the Jets. Atlanta basically traded their #15 pick for Abe, a 3rd round pick, and a 4th reound pick (the latter two from Denver). Presumably if they were willing to do that they would have offered it to the Jets also, so I guess Tangini didn't want to give up two picks that way. Presumably all of the Falcon trolls will now disappear, but I wonder how any of them who insisted that the Falcons would never give up the #15 pick feel now?
i wonder how TD4Tatum feels... I think the Falcons got a little ripped off (pending on the picks they get)...but they should be happy with it I think the Broncos got a real good deal by having the 15 and 21 overall now....wow I think we got a good fair deal...ditching that bag of trash, saving money, having the 4th and 29th picks...i'm happy with that  Mario Williams/ Nick Mangold... I think that's obvious
I didnt know sumthin that crazy could happen in the NFL this is freaken sweet. This should defiently speed up the rebuilding process with the extra pick.
How greedy are you guys..we were going to be getting the 31st from Seattle..Good Job Tang....and Mang
This is how Glazer reports it: "In the trade, the Falcons send their first-round pick (No. 15 overall) to the Broncos, and Denver turns around and sends its first-round pick (No. 29) and a third-rounder in this year's draft plus a fourth-round pick in 2007 to Atlanta. The Falcons then send that 29th overall pick in the draft to the Jets for Abraham. "
